This is good stuff! Hannah has just started — like me —, but I really enjoy her writing because she writes from. The remembrance of her grandmother is touching!
This is a great Substack! My friend Bianca is quite a poet. Even though poetry is not my preferred genre overall, Bianca has a way of taking everyday objects and making them beautiful. Well worth a read! She has lots of free content, but like the rest of us, I know that she would appreciate your support if you feel so led.
If you're into astrology (or not -- never gave it a thought), this is a great site for you. The main reason I like it is that the writing is breezy and conversational. It feels like you are actually talking with the author.
She posts religiously, and it is so, so good! You can get lost in it, and I mean in the best way possible!
I will say first off that I've only read one of Emmett's posts. But his writing is so alive and urgent that I know I will be back again and again. The post I read is about the Florida Prison System and the overwhelming brutality and corruption. I urge everyone to read "I TRIPLE Dog Dare You." I did, and I will be reading everything else.
This guy is one of the best poets working on Substack today! I definitely recommend that you check his page out! His latest "van gogh and oppenheimer walk into a bar" is really inventive.
Aaliya is for real! Her sweet soul and writing talent make this a must-read! I hope you enjoy!
She writes poetry like a life on fire. You might think you're not a poetry fan -- hold onto that judgment until you read her!
Heartrending stuff! She writes clearly and with purpose about things that have affected her deeply. Definitely worth checking out!
The key is in her last name: ethereal. You will not come away unmoved! Beautiful stuff!
